Has Broomie got a new ’50s car? This doesn’t look quite like the former Plymouth she was driving. BTW, barfing out over the side of a speeding car is not a good idea, I assure you….
Just stop and let him take a little walk to get his balance back.
Had to do that with our youngest. About every hour or two. Made the trips more comfortable for all! (especially as we walked with her…and stretched out our legs!)
This brings back memories–and not particularly pleasant ones. Once many years ago my husband and I were taking my younger sister and brother on a trip to the mountains (my sister is 10 years younger, my baby brother is 14 years younger than 1) and he was too embarassed to admit he was carsick. You guessed it–we heard “STOP” just as I was hit in the back of the head. But I still love him.
Has anyone here seen the movie Rat Race? I wanders between okay and awful, but there’s one part where a little girl desperately needs to go to the bathroom, and Dad doesn’t want to stop driving for any reason. The way he handles this, and the consequences thereof, are truly worth watching the movie.

She’s going so fast the car appears to be flying.

Didn’t she lose her license to drive? Well, they never said anything ‘bout flying!

That will add a certain “air” to the trip.

The car has a hint of a Plymouth (headlight cowlings and fins) but I also get a little Nash in there somehow. Maybe the short wheel base.

All she needs now is to run into that cop from last week and Nerwin to blow chunks all over him.

Whatever it looks like, it still has “PLYMOUTH” written across the hood in panel two.

Most likely a ‘56 Belvidere convertible. The striping is a little different, but close enough for jazz or cartooning.
