Enron played games with energy prices. republicons blamed Gray Davis, and started a recall petition. They’d had a hand picked successor ready to run, but hadn’t expected 136 candidates, mostly jokes because the entry requirements were very low, or that the plurality of voters would go for one of the jokes.

Guy comes from Austria, doesn’t speak the language, wins multiple Mr. Universe, Mr. World Contests, learns English, gets into acting, ends up marrying a Kennedy, becomes Governor of California. His picture is in the dictionary under the word badass.

I would have preferred the other actor running who was upfront in that she promised she was going to screw us if elected. That was Mary Carey. But she had to drop out due to her mother’s illness.

I voted for the weed farmer that time. He made the top half, but not the top 50, out of 130+ choices.

The Ahnold question is easy:

Many people vote for the first name they Recognize, no matter where they recognize it From.

That’s assuming they even Remember Where they recognize it from.
