That Bible bullshit is based on undercooking pork back in the Bronze Age. These days, oddly, trichinosis is extremely rare, because most pigs don’t eat actual rancid garbage….
I have a rack of ribs marinating in the fridge in anticipation tomorrow’s inaugrill barbeque. And a big plate of Nanaimo bars as well. (They are not just for Xmas)
There is a reason we can eat rare beef and don’t eat rare pork. With a few exceptions (like mad cow which is caused by prions) there are few diseases that we can catch from cattle. Pigs, on the other hand, can pass a lot to us, thus we cook the pork well to make it safe.
