Yasssss, I can see how money can have that effect on the Taliban. I get the idea of money, land, pensions etc being an incentive to lay down weapons, but I don’t quite get the running away in this ‘toon. Am I missing something subtle?
Maybe the implication that simply paying them will not “run them off”?

also really like when objects drift toward the viewer - larger on the picture plane creating the illusion of space
the composition is a classic though - group vs one - all that’s needed is a slight political slant and a powder of twinkle dust
