Huey: Riley, I need your honest opinion on something. Riley: Yeah? Huey: Well, even though I'm more a radical socialist than cultural nationalist, I still feel awful that I completely overlooked Kwanzaa this year. I mean, between the millennium madness and the Santa conspiracy, I just forgot. Am I a poor excuse for a black revolutionary, honestly? Riley: Honestly? Huey: The truth. I can take it. Riley: I don't have the slightest clue what you're talking about, and I don't care even a little bit. Huey: (Sigh) Thank you. You've been helpful.

Well Huey, if all you ever do is see the negative things, you lose sight of what’s in front of you. You want to make the world a better place, but you’re too focused on complaining to make it a reality.

I’m not a fan of Riley’s willful ignorance, but I don’t blame him for ignoring Huey. Obsessing over things like “the Santa conspiracy” doesn’t make the world a better place.
