And most of them (at least in the US) call themselves Christian. I suspect that when they get to their final reward (if there be such) there wil be a lot of ‘splainin’ to do.

Amazing to me how many humans on this earth subscribe to belief in things supernatural, when there has never been any substantial proof of such nonsense. Especially when citing a book or books obviously written by humans for the explicit control of other humans and their wealth

I was with him up to the “my own moral code”. You don’t need to invent a morality. For many prominent Christians (probably other religions as well) what they say their God intends passes through their own personal filter of what they want, and their attitude towards others. Like the televangelists who say God wants them to have a mansion, boat, jet, etc.
