They were a magical brand of “Every Flavor Beans” so presumably every flavor that could exist was out there somewhere in their product. Dumbledore said he’d lost his taste for them when he once got a vomit-flavored bean, but he decided to try one again. Thought the tan one might be a toffee or caramel, but it turned out to be earwax (always wondered how he knew what earwax tasted like).
I had this done recently and it was very painful – and it was done in an ENT’s office (by an assistant) – it was listed, in my referral, as ‘impacted’, meaning it was hard to remove.
Ear candling is also very dangerous…those who perform the service say it’s safe…cos, of course, accidents “never” happenwith a flame right next to your ear (and your hair!) Besides the threat of burns, the vacuum it creates is uncontrolled and can rupture an eardrum.
OMG .. is that really you?Wonder why I didn’t recognise your name before… silly me.And… um…NO.I guess you must not hang out with him, or you’d know it’s been years!

I had to have that done a few times. Not painful, but very uncomfortable.

There were earwax-flavored jelly beans in the Harry Potter books/movies.

I sometimes wonder why we don’t get the dreaded beige illness from doctors’ offices.

I kind of admire the way the doctor blithely ignores all of Agnes’s many protests.
