Laundry bleach. You can pour it on the plant, and if you happen to catch it, patting bleach on the rash dries it up. NEVER, never, never burn the stuff.
Simply washing thoroughly with soap immediately after touching the plant works, too. It removes the irritating oils before they can cause problems. It worked for me, anyway.
