Other people grab all sorts of glory for jumping farther…. Martin Frumbly jumped 12 feet off the roof, Baxter Smoelsky parachuted three THOUSAND feet out of a small plane….
But that first 10 out of 12, or 2,998 out of 3,000 feet is perfectly safe!
If anybody’s gonna get hurt, the way Baxter broke his ankle on his jump … it’s always gonna happen in that last two feet!
In fact, it’s the last six inches that’s the most dangerous part of any jump…And here is Marcus, staring that danger zone right in the eye…if it has an eye….
C’mon, Marcus, no one will blame you, not even Dorothy, if you come on down to the Tiki for a bit of a strengthener, before you make your grand attempt.
I flew in with Prince Mua in Kitty Bang Bang, but we landed well out of Marcus’s sight, because the backfire startled him. I felt sorry for him when his feather’s shook off…
I’ll have a rainbow ice cream cone with an A and W Rootbeer Jilly Jelly on top, please, little monkeys.Ohh, you do that so professionally, as always, of course. I just love to see you all work together like that.
If I had any icecream in the house, I’d have some. Headed out now to Baronial Court (voting on a new practice location). I’ll check in later if anyone’s still here.
Hi BRI, SUSAN and BEV. Sorry I missed you.I just watched a fascinating movie called “Salt of the Earth”, about a 15 month strike in a New Mexico Zinc mine. The film was banned in the McCarthy era, but it is excellent. The ‘non-professional’ actors were excellent. I could have sworn one of them was Humphrey Bogart, but he was a Mexican Union member.
BRI, did you find something to do? Doesn’t it annoy you when you arrive and no one is here? Shouldn’t everyone arrive at the same time? Like on Cheers- heck that place is always full of regulars, lol

Hey, I don’t blame Marcus for being afraid.

I don’t blame Marcus Timus. The wind isn’t in the right direction…

Marcus is losing some feathers so he probably should rethink this. Wing construction is very important to flight. Funny comments today as usual.

SusanSunshine Premium Member over 10 years ago
Hi X!
Hey, we’ve got that…
This is what we have on tap….a few more in bottles…
SusanSunshine Premium Member over 10 years ago
I can’t imagine you want the last bottle of their coconut porter.

Hi Susan, any chance of getting some of those hot & spicy Yak wings?
SusanSunshine Premium Member over 10 years ago
Sure, X….
I think we’ve got some yak wings …not a lot of winged yak about.
SusanSunshine Premium Member over 10 years ago
Actually, they’re pretty rare…
SusanSunshine Premium Member over 10 years ago
Do you think you might settle for Buffalo wings?
Apparently there are a LOT more of those…
You see how small their wings are…that’s why you get a whole plateful.

There’s a lot of beer flowing at the Tiki. I think I will have a Wing Walker. I feel daring, unlike what’s his name molting on the front stoop.

SUSAN, could I have a barbequed Yak drumstick please?

I wondered why Frazz and Caulfield were eating ice cream today.
Obviously not from the Tiki…..Caulfield is waaay over the limit.
A scoop of chocolate fudge and one of coffee chocolate swirl, on a sugar cone, please, monks.I need energy to go do laundry.
Later!
Oh…. and Brian…. my goodness don’t say things like that around here…. you’re wide open to suggestions! LOL

BEV, I enjoyed my ice cream cone. I don’t think I would enjoy the one on Frazz. I would be swimming in cream before I could eat it all.
