I can’t believe that fast food workers are demanding $15/hr. Before my kids were all in full day school, I worked in a hot dog and chicken place (not a chain) and worked for minimum as I expected. I ran the potatoes in an abraiser, sliced and soaked them overnight; every morning sliced fresh tomatoes and diced fresh onions and the lovely fresh dills etc. I ran the place alone all day making shakes, frying potatoes and chicken and running the register. For amusement, I drew his flyers (I remember one with a dollar bill showing Washington eating a hot dog).
I KNEW it was not the job I’d have all my life, so minimum was fine. Further on in my life, I negotiated and moved on into my engineering work.

Yup, what you need to read if you are making $8.00 an hour is a union membership.

I don’t think the Magna Carta was that long.

A bit of overkill yes, but no one gets to be CEO by starting at the top!! $8.00??? Good Grief! Slave wages it seems! However, it’s better than $0.00!

Right so you can earn NINE dollars and hour but owe the Union $50/week.
