When I totally virtualized my hospital library, I considered changing my title to “Cybrarian,” but decided that it sounded too much like all I do is maintain the Cybrary, while “Librarian” still implies my full services of helping people use it and (moreso for busy clinicians) using it and libraries beyond our own on their behalf.

In France a library is called a bibliothèque… a book shop is called a librairie… a library with computers and DVDs is called a mediathèque…

if you made up the word, it’s up to you to define it. cybrarian sounds to me like someone i would go to for help navigating the new library features.
