Well, the rest of the world can’t be as big of a loser as Nate.

My wife and I have discussed this for 27 years. She likes them perfectly yellow (like what Teddy said). I like them just when the brown spots are starting to form. When they’re “too far gone”, it’s banana bread time.

Recent study says 99.99999999999999% People like bananas just the way they are,and then there’s the last 0.000000000000001%,which is loser Nate.

You (well I) have to eat a banana on THE one day when it’s perfectly ripe. One day too early it’d too green, one day later, it has brown spots on it and it’s too soft and mushy.

Nate, we know you aren’t like everyone else, we figured that out in a couple of minutes after Big Nate in a Class By Himself.

Now, now, why is Nate a loser for liking crispy free bananas?

The browner it gets the healthier. Also the more fermented, and kind of tastes like alcohol.

When we first heard that one, my wife and I laughed out loud – and she thinks Hell on the Red hot salsa burns her throat. We couldn’t comprehend anyone finding mayonnaise zesty. I have found bananas that went crunch when biting them, but never tart. Where were you before Houston area?

I’ve got 2 or 3 banana plants coming up this year. It has been a while since I had any to eat. Just a few plants don’t get pollinated very well I guess.

Did you know that bananas make great foot ware? Slippers.

I like bananas to be perfectly yellow and firm. If they’re a little green, whatever. But I hate bananas with brown spots.

I don’t like the ones with brown spots after that time when I found out I ate a rotten one.

I looooove green bananas. I can’t stand bananas with any brown on them.

Fun fact, bananas make a hormone for them called ethylene that causes the bananas to ripen from green to yellow, but it goes out of control and causes the banana to turn brown

I’ve never seen a perfectly yellow banana. Only green ones and ones with brown spots. Either way, I hate them.

actully, the when a banana is green it has more fiber in it.

Ripe banana is when it starts turning brown.
