Hated being forced to learn to play the violin just because my cousin had outgrown it and my aunt and uncle gave it to my mother. Never did learn to actually read the notes. There was a red star for me to put my fingers on for the actual note. Even took private lessons at school from the music teacher. Lot of good that did me. Still love Classical music to listen to.
