Wow: Agnes’ brain is way more messed up than mine (per conversation of yesterday). At least for this week. I will strive to have nothing stall and hit the wall ALL day today!!
There was a time, back in their heyday, that I regarded the Eagles as one step away from bubblegum pop.
The older I get, the more I appreciate their laid-back sound…and now I’d rather listen to them than a lot of the hard-edge stuff I wanted to hear then.
BTW that was Devo, Talking Heads, David Bowie, Roxy Music, etc…I still like them, but it’s not what you want to relax to (except I’ll listen to Elvis Costello any old time.)Anyway, by “hard edged” I don’t mean metal, which I’ve never liked.
“Anyway, by “hard edged” I don’t mean metal, which I’ve never liked.”.I used to play Acid Rock, not because I liked it but because I didn’t like it. I used it to drown out noises interrupting my studies. Other music would catch my attention and I would find myself stopping to listen to it. Never had that problem with that genre.
the thoughts don’t stall … they rev up their motors and go full throttle and hit that wall. … I suspect some are trying to escape because the thought starts over there and goes, by the time it reaches the other side, it has spotted the light and jumped ship. .That is my excuse for skipped words in my posts, any out of the ordinary, strange posts and of course the times when I stop talking and draw a blank.

Agnes, if just one of your thoughts crosses the finish line and gets the checkered flag, you’re way ahead of some of us.
