Coming Soon đ At the beginning of April, youâll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
wndrwrthg - I remember what youâre talking about. My hubby liked to pull a similar stunt using a co-workerâs desk drawer. Iâd forgotten about the prank you mentioned. I just might have to pull that one on my kids on April Foolâs Day this year.
Actually, Markâs right on time - today (22 Feb) is GWâs BD.
The âthird Monday of Februaryâ stuff is the result of the politicians deciding to mash together Lincolnâs BD (12 Feb) with GWâs (they did this, what, thirty years ago?).
We get one less day off, but it always makes for a long weekend, plus itâs less vexing to the âstars and barsâ crowdâŚ
I remember getting Lincolnâs and Washingtonâs birthdays off from school shortly after Valentines Day. I lived in Chicago, and it was a nice mid winter treat before the long slog to summer. I miss those days. Now I donât even get presidentâs day off. Iâm usually busier, in fact.

Lio genes must be mostly from Granmaâs side of the family.
Sisyphos almost 15 years ago
Gosh! Have we ever met Granma? Her side of the family clearly has contributed to Lioâs genes!
EDIT: [And then I read â Lonewolfâsâ postâŚ.]

Lioâs grandma is the best!
Trisha_Evenstar almost 15 years ago
Wow Lioâs granma Rocks! But I think the genes that make lio so special must have missed the generation with lioâs dad
margueritem almost 15 years ago
Maybe Granma is his Motherâs mom. I would be that kind of Granma, if I had any grandkids, sighâŚ.

Hey, this strip reminds me of a short story by Bently Little called âThe Washingtoniansâ in his short story book âThe Collectionâ.

Great card trick! Lioâs Granma rocks!
AlonsoPersona almost 15 years ago
A very poor representation of the real George. He wore wooden false teeth and the type of white wig that aristocrats wore.
By George, these new pop-out cards can take your breath away! âEspecially if they include sound.
