Once upon a time, I found it easier to keep running after about 6-8 miles than to stop and walk.

I try to skip the first panel, and have rarely reached the last one. But I’m pretty happy in the middle two.

Yes! I can do it! I can have knee replacements and hip replacements in my later years.

In my younger years, I could never get past panel two. Now that many of my genetic disorders have been diagnosed, I understand why. I never get the “endorphines” (or whatever it is that gives a runner’s high) because my bp and heart rate drop dramatically (and dangerously) low with vigorous exercise. I’ve actually been told by my specialist to only exercise as long as it is comfortable for me, to not do more. I have found when I push myself past the comfortable level, my body suffers for days afterward.
