Busted! Please don’t tell my Mom, ‘kay?

I rarely “get” frog applause as it is. Today I am at an even greater disadvantage, as I have no idea what a bread-fruit is.

Flightsuit: Ever heard of Mutiny on the Bounty? The Bounty’s mission was to bring breadfruit from the south seas where it is used by the natives as a staple food. The Brits wanted breadfruit because they thought they could use it to feed slaves in the Caribbean. Somehow the scheme never worked out. Maybe the Tahitians didn’t like their breadfruit being stolen.

Today this strip makes about as much sense as a “Red Meat” strip.

I also stole a couple of muffins and your hot cross buns.

So? What are you going to do about it, punk?! It’s my breadfruit now!

@blackknight. It sounds as though you like comics that have a formula or follow certain comic strip rules. FA doesn’t fit a particular mold. Fortunately, there are plenty of comics on GoComics that do follow “the rules”. Maybe you should stick to those comics.

Personally, I prefer spareribfruit. Maybe some catherinedeneuvefruit. Or catherinezetajonesfruit. I could go on…

It says that every part of the breadfruit tree contains latex. I am allergic to latex. I wonder if I’m allergic to breadfruit.

If you read “The Mutiny on Board HMS Bounty” by William Bligh, you will see that Bligh’s portrayal in the movies was a complete myth.

If you live in Xanth, breadfruit trees sprout fresh loaves of bread for your sandwiches. Sounds better to me than the real thing.
