Coming Soon š At the beginning of April, youāll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
Flightsuit: Ever heard of Mutiny on the Bounty? The Bountyās mission was to bring breadfruit from the south seas where it is used by the natives as a staple food. The Brits wanted breadfruit because they thought they could use it to feed slaves in the Caribbean. Somehow the scheme never worked out. Maybe the Tahitians didnāt like their breadfruit being stolen.
@blackknight. It sounds as though you like comics that have a formula or follow certain comic strip rules. FA doesnāt fit a particular mold. Fortunately, there are plenty of comics on GoComics that do follow āthe rulesā. Maybe you should stick to those comics.
re blog: that you in the rain MzB? kinda prettyā¦ and it does look a bit like you from the long time ago when we used to see the ārealā you on the blogā¦.lots of mixed emotions, and feelings there (in the picture I meanā¦) hope you had a nice valentine dayā¦.
Iām telling you, she just closes her eyes and points in the dictionary , finds a word and voila!ā another stripā¦.
you guys can then comment on slave trading and mutiny on the bounty and everything else that is remotely connected to it and she just smiles and readies her finger for the next dayās stripā¦ā¦
You are my sunshine ā¼
My only sunshine ā¼
You make me happy when skies are breadfruity.
Youāll never know lovedove
How much I love you
Please donāt take my sunshine ā¼ away.
Listen to yourselves! Pathetic Earthlings. Hurling your comments out into the void without a clue as to who, or what is out there.
Frog Applause has got you all scrambling for the true relevance
of breadfruit, Tahitians, and the British Navy. Anyway, you guys are all hilariousā¦ sometimes more entertaining that the
strip itself. Thatās why I come here.
Now please go to Sherpa and read Mad Mouse and bicker amongst yourselves about THAT strip!
Which one of you is he/she talking to? A breadfruit stealer is pretty low - we all know that, but stealing a little KIDāS breadfruit is the lowest of the low.
Do the dance, BPM - scandalize us.
Remember Anthony Hopkinsā (Blighās) face when the mutiny
was going down and the malcontents were tossing the breadfruit he was bringing to the Queen, overboard?

Today this strip makes about as much sense as a āRed Meatā strip.

It says that every part of the breadfruit tree contains latex. I am allergic to latex. I wonder if Iām allergic to breadfruit.

@nighthawks. If you were keeping Teresa satisfied in bed, she wouldnāt need to sneak out and read the dictionary. Do your husbandly duties, dude!

Breadfruit never became popular in French Polynesia, where they preferred croissantfruit, preferably served with cafe au lait or chocolate.

If you read āThe Mutiny on Board HMS Bountyā by William Bligh, you will see that Blighās portrayal in the movies was a complete myth.

If you live in Xanth, breadfruit trees sprout fresh loaves of bread for your sandwiches. Sounds better to me than the real thing.
