Bozo the clown doesn’t scare me at all.

The clown is bad enough, but the happy faces on the shields are really scary.

if I was from tulsa , I would jump in here and correct crazyolnick about the difference between ancient troy and the vikings both separated by centuries….. and then go into a spiel about how this related to some job I had thirty years ago….somehow missing the hole point that crazolnick was trying to make about the trojan horse….

I never do my (nowadays rare) clowning unless parents have been told a clown will be present at an event. Lots of kids are frightened of us.

Hm, brothers in arms. I too have Viking heritage and am scared to death of the Insane Clown Posse.

Don’t forget the North Sea saw other groups who raided by sea before the Viking Era, and even used similar boats: Jutes, Saxons and Angles in 5th-8th centuries, Frisians and others before that.

And, back at the dawn of civilization, on the border between the woad-using Picts and Britons and the ocher-favoring Teutons, were the whiteface Buffoons…

It’s the mime raiders that really scared the Saxons. Resulted in too much Saxon violence.

Geesh! Does terror count as much as offense? I honestly can’t look at the panel long enough to be offended.

AHH! I HATE clowns!

You see, the thing about those boats which was so scary was that in one little boat like that, they had like 10,000 warriors, all with big red noses and giant shoes and confetti cannons.

I’m offended that anyone would find that getup terrifying…I mean really!

The real problem with these clowns was that their leaders had to keep on saying, “How many times do I have to tell you this? FIRST pillage…THEN burn!”
