She just never should have had white carpeting installed throughout the house. I can't promise anything, but I might have an accident with a beverage.

Everybody here always takes their shoes off at home - no need to “make” anyone do that. Have slippers for inside wear. And I don’t even have a single carpet in my home, they’re not very common here, rather parquets and such.
