Joe, lemmings jumping off of cliffs are so much a part of the cartoonist’s reperatory that it’s pointless to make such a fuss about it. The same goes for so many things you make a fuss about. And that leads me to say something I’ve wanted to say for quite some time.

Many here might like to ask you, “If all your friends were irritating know-it-alls, would you be one too?” Some don’t perceive, as I do, that sometimes you’re both lucid and helpful. But that’s when you’re truly serving the cause of truth and not your own ego. You may have difficulty seeing the difference yourself, for one reason or another that we out here don’t understand; but I sincerely hope that you remember it more often…because when you do, I respect you a lot. :)
