Many Americans can’t or won’t take a vacation because they either can’t afford it or they don’t dare take the time off. They are concerned that their workplace would fall apart in their absence or, worse yet, the boss could figure out that he could get along fine without the missing worker. If the worker does take a vacation it is to visit distant relatives or to remodel their house. Contrast that with the current POTUS and his family who takes multiple vacations to exciting locations (Hawaii, Ireland, Martha’s Vineyard, Aspen, and more) all at taxpayer expense. While away playing golf, skiing, sightseeing, and the such wars break out, disasters get ignored, dignitaries get snubbed, scandals flair up, and all the while the Commander-in-Chief repeatedly enjoys privileges that many of the people he has been sworn in to serve languish with high unemployment figures, inflation, hordes of illegal aliens invading the country, national security threats, and rampant crimes.
I’d betcha if Mitt Romney had been elected, HE wouldn’t be taking vacations. He’d of stuck right in the White House and sent his holographic images to different places that needed him. He’d of had a Holodeck installed in the basement that simulated rooms in his various mansions and thus saved all that jet fuel. I’d betcha.
Hmm, as opposed to Republicans who thought, and think, it was just “cool” for Bush to fiddle on his play ranch while Afghanistan, Iraq, and our troops, burned. He demanding a “unitary executive” had elite powers, not transferrable to his successor by any means, of course!
bho going to tx and meeting with an asst attny general [ couple of fund raisers and couple round of golf ] do not count as a vacation// ditto ca // ditto etc
So what is all the noise about Obama playing golf? It’s not like he is the first President to play. As for the fund raising, it’s simple. Take big money out of campaign contributions and it would be so expensive to run a campaign.

He should buy a ranch, then he can take “Much needed vacations” for months and no one will say boo.
