For once Burl and Joy have a point! Our stores give blue plastic recycling bags, but we have enough of those to last a couple of lifetimes. So I make a point to ask for beige or white bags (if I don’t bring my canvas bags) – since I need the plastic bags to clean the kitty litter boxes!

I re-use plastic grocery bags or donate them to the thrift store. BUT I draw the line on reuseable tissues!

I can never understand someone wants to carry a pocketful of germs in their back pocket. I carry a handkerchief but not for that.

I have a lemon tree that produces all year long and they are great to pack lemons for family and friends
