    I don’t know about that…my aunt’s Boston terrier is a hyper schizo…

Our dog is half-Boston and has all those great attributes except for the shedding.

Not sure about the “don’t shed” remark, our Boston sheds quite a bit. I do love how they show Cagney sitting like that, clearly he has had a Boston.

Yeah, I remember the one I grew up with sitting like that. He loved to think he was human so we had to let him “play” when we played board games.

So true! Of course, every dog (even those of the same breed) and going to possess varying degrees of intellect. That being said, my Boston is hands down the smartest dog I’ve ever known in my life. Not saying she’s the smartest ever, just the smartest one I’ve known. I’ve had other Bostons growing that were smart, but not like this. Her reasoning and problem solving skills are simply mind-blowing. And I swear she understands everything I say. If not the words, she at least recognizes the tone.

Parethed…my Boston is a hyper schizo too, but she’s still sharp as a tack!

Also, ALL Bostons shed! Don’t be fooled by that myth!

My favorite of all the dogs I have ever had was a Chinese Shar Pei. He came when called and was a good watch dog when I was away from home. His personality was the best of all the dogs I have ever known.

He did have his flaws though. He couldn’t eat many brands of dog food because he had allergies and would get bald patches if I fed him the wrong kind.

My dog has allergies too! He’s allergic to artificial colors… just like me. O_O
