This is a woman in a nutshell. I come home form work, the kids are sitting on the couch, doing whatever, I say ‘Hi,’ then sit down and do my thing. My wife walks in and it’s the Spanish inquisition, “What about this, what about that, why didn’t you this, etc.” Then she asks “Why do the kids always get up and go to their rooms when I walk in?”

That’s because she’s a grandmother. Parents, on the other had, ask questions they don’t want to know the answer to. For example:
Parent: What’s that noise!?
Child: Slipknot
Parent: I don’t care who it is! Turn it down!!
If they don’t want the answer, why do they ask the question?

It’s a pretty effective method too. Not sure why, but it is.

On my way to work, I saw someone stopped at a light who had his keys in the door of his car. I waved at him to get his attention and told him.
