Reminded of watching a video at the Little Bighorn Battlefield which reported that Custer’s men called him “Old Hard Ass.” “What did they call him?” a little boy in the audience asked his mother. “Old Hard Hat.” “Why did the call him that?” (Didn’t hear an answer to that one)
