I kind of like my painkillers addictive with side effects.

Regarding the “Love Spammer”: The “I wanna” sorta messes up the mood, kinda, don’tcha think?. He (or she) shoulda said, “I long to…” instead. Also, should be “lie upon,” not “lay upon.” Otherwise, it’s pretty eloquent, in a sappy, Liz B. Browning sorta way. Coulda been a real masterpiece, but tiny slips like that just blow the whole mood. I give it three stars (out of five).

Excuse me, but I have to say: “…your laughter disrupts the migration of birds” is a wonderful phrase. Now I’ll be quiet.

Actually, Teresa, I think it’s safe to say you have a NUMBER of friends here at FA.

Edit: Thought I found some “Frog Applause” stickers on the internet, a 100 sticker package - only they’re not, really…

I agree with Ushindi, Teresa…

FA has become my favorite “comic”. Since I’ve discovered GoComics and it’s Sherpa site ( where I post my strip - shameless plug approaching - “MAD MOUSE” ) I have found Frog Applause and it’s loyal band of followers a breath of fresh air. Not because I get it, but because most of the time, I don’t. And dammit I like that!

I don’t like every comic, but I do like FA, I have a separate bookmarks for FA and the blog. Those who do not like FA have problems and as with others on the lunatic fringe, I know it ‘s a phase they’re going through and ignore them.

I don’t like Frog Applause. I print the comics out, throw darts at them, call them filthy animal names in Swahili and burn them. I tip the residue down the drain because it cleans the pipes.
