I love the cat tail trophies! But seriosly, people who let their cats and dogs run freely over roads and other people’s property are the ones responsible for whatever befalls them. I love to visit peoples clean well-behaved HOUSE pets!

I guess the motto is: don’t play chicken with the chickens….

I’m offended at the dodo in the passenger seat. I think it should be a passenger pigeon.

Grrrreat comments today!!

Apologies for the black and white today. Some days I get so busy with “real” work, I don’t have time to create a brand new cartoon. At those times, I substitute one of my (mostly unseen, pre-syndication) cartoons. The two birds in the car are a couple of Birdbrain characters I worked on developing for ongoing panels, but I have since abandoned them as regulars (I think one of them got drunk while the other became a gamebird in Las Vegas).

And the eternal contest between cat and bird continues…

Oh, this cartoonist is sooo going to hel….

When I saw this, I well and truly LOL’d. I miss sweet Cinnamon the cat (who lived across the street from me and was indeed hit by a car), but sometimes one simply has to bow to the absurd.

Well, that only goes to prove my own wry self-critique: I probably could find something funny in a famine. Maybe I laugh to keep from crying. I suspect so.

Siamese cats have more points.

Johanan, sometimes laughing to keep from crying is the best alternative.

I like to say “I laugh to keep from going insane”.

Um…..hmm…….. the panel is wider and shorter than usual.

Lonewolf - I do the same thing, but my laugh is legendary for scaring children, teens, grown ups and everyone within a 2 mile radius on a clear day. Monkeys 1 & 2 think its funny I can no longer laugh without it turning maniacal.

This is one of Thom’s older ones that he never used. That’s the reason for size difference and the lack of color. See his post earlier.

In that case, Coyoty, Cinnamon racked up more points than usual; he was definitely “more Siamese than thou”.

Silly Coyoty. Isn’t there a package from Acme Products you should be unpacking somewhere? :)
