I remember the strip to follow with them finally between the sheets. Some newspapers refused to run it, others moved it from the comics page to the editorial.

Doons was on the editorial page of my paper, when they started printing mallard fillmore they moved Doons to the comics page with MF. Then the paper cut back and stopped carrying mallard except for Sunday, to keep the rabid right from having heart attacks, they also canx Doons except for Sunday
