Good morning; kittens got picked up this morning for their “adventures with the vet”. I’m foster free for 2 whole days. Whatever shall I do with myself??

Dream: did you make the appointments?

Then again, most of the time they are just ornery.

Poor little Rain Kitty – he/she does not look happy. I hope someone let the cat in; it would be cruel to make it be outside like that.

Oh Annie, they mean well! :-D

Jack and Chesney decided to hide for awhile because Annie did not appreciate the “rain” as much as they thought she would.

Funny strip today! We need an arc featuring Lily… phew….that kitty is a fireball.

wildcatherder: that was pretty funny! Maybe you just spray him with a mister so he could get dried off. Or, use some spray-on cat cleanser then he would be clean, smell nice AND get his towel fix. I use this spray stuff for kittens I get that don’t smell very good. It’s just a light mist and then I rub them with a soft towel. They smell good and their fur is nice and soft.

They want to you to be cool Annie. And if you think about it (but not too hard) a bucket of tap water is much better than having Jack & Chesney spray you.

Yes I did, they go in on August 18th I’ll be able to pick them up after work. And thank you once again.I agree, ONE is too many, My sister has been in the Air Force 27 years this year, she started as a nurse and went in a 2nd lt. up to Colonel and now shes’ deputy director of her EVAC wing. I’m very proud of her, I only made Corporal when I served my 2 years in the IDF. I’m just a dumb grunt, compared to her :) I used my friends embellishment, as he had seen far worse than I ever hope to see and had a right to have that sense of gallows humor.I worry now and every night for my relatives in both Syria and Israel and the horror both sides of a conflict must endure.I’m 50 and thankfully too old and too much of a pacifist now or ever pick up a gun in anger, unless it was to protect my family or the kids I work with.

My guy Bucky goes out in all kinds of weather (my two stay in all night and during rush hours) and comes back in soaked, with his fur all standing up and spiky. My husband says he looks like a punk rocker!

Out big ’ol male Max would stay out in the rain, but that is because he was too dumb to come inside!Even the Vet said “the lights are on, but the place is unfurnished”!

Dream: thanks for letting me know the date. Susan sent up 18 to Best Friends this morning and a local vet did 6 for us yesterday. It never ends, no matter how much progress with think we are making.

Somehow I don’t think the weather is going to listen to you, little guy! ;)
