I went down to the town square and shouted for Turdus Migratorius. Strangely, none came.

As Dr. martin Luther King once said, or maybe it was Jesse Jackson…

My deepest apologies for any who were offended by my comment above. I admire and respect Dr. King and the work he did. The above was more of a comment on my own inabilities than anything else. Right now I have a dream that I won’t be banned from this amazing site.

I can’t believe that Rob expects Satchel to understand the scientific naming of animals. This is the same dog that determines if something is edible by eating it.

“Turdus migratorius” is the Latin scientific name of our robins. The UK has a “Turdus merula,” too (looking that up in a Swedish birdbook—-so not 100% sure pf species name), solid black but otherwise same shape and behaviour.

Forgot: CRUMB is a Turdus merula.
