Transcript:
Phoebe: We have to perform in three minutes? What's the easiest song we could possibly play? Sue: Isn't there a song that's jut four and a half minutes of silence? Phoebe: You really think you being quiet for over four minutes is our easiest option? Sue: You could tape my mouth shut maybe.

TEchnically speaking it isn´t a “song”, but a number.

John Cage’s 4′33″, maybe? It’s technically not supposed to be silence but environmental sounds – I’ll let you decide how much can you stretch that definition.

This is the second reference to 4’33" in this strip, IIRC.Wasn’t there a similar song called “Middle C” or something to that effect, possibly also by John Cage? I looked but can’t find it. I figure Phoebe could play it quite well, though there’s an 87/88 chance she would mess it up ;)

Hey you said it Sue, not me. Now what lesson do we learn from this? Never put off till the last minuet, practice makes perfect, don’t make promises you can’t keep, or do what ever you want a Unicorn will not suffer the same embarkations as you and when she uses magic to save her self, you’ll come along for the ride so don’t try to apply this get out of trouble free card to your home work…..or maybe Phoebe will wish she was invisible and we’ll get fun Phoebe and Sue are invisible shenanigans.
