Back in the ’60’s we had an 13-year old grad from Michigan State University. That made things kind of tough on a few people in my classes whose parents expected nothing less than 4.5 out of 4.0 from them. By the time we hit HS they were real wrecks if there was even a hint that they might get an 88 or 89 on any of their work for a class.
