What a meanie! What has Odie ever done to you?

Sometimes I just feel like a nut, sometimes I don’t.

Yay ! Vintage Garfield ! Booting poor ol’ Odie from the table, and then a smarta§§ remark in the final panel ! Ah … the memories !

I have the question to ask hearing readers. Do you guys hear the sound “BOOT” when the person kicks another person’s behind? I just wonder curiously. I never hear that sound “BOOT” before.

Vintage Garfield. I love it. However, poor Odie … that’ll be painful.

@WildMustang: No, there really isn’t much of a sound when someone gets their backside kicked. There might be some sort of a dull “thud” depending on how well padded said backside may be. The “BOOT” in the cartoon is more like the “POW” and such you would see in the old Batman TV series back in the ’60s. Hitting someone doesn’t sound like “pow” but it gives some idea that something really happened. Hope I didn’t bore you by going on way too long.

Jon can’t do video games, suduko, and other such complex (easy) things,,, but can build the Eiffel Tower? hmmm,, hidden talent or dumb luck?

Jon is supposed to be a cartoonist (which is almost never mentioned), so…naah! Too easy. :)

I know it’s the ongoing thing from way back when, but this just isn’t funny. Garfield landing on the toothpicks instead, would be hilarious.

Joe, All of the cats that I know who walk on only their rear paws have over-sized rear feet too.

Everyone knows that CATS and DOGS ,don;t get along anyway.It’s just Odie’s dumb luck the Garfield has not kill him before now.Some would go as far as to say the they love each other, But for some reason I just can;t see it that way. But if Garfield didn’t mistreat Odie then what fun would we have.It just depends on how one looks at the BIG Picture . Is Garfield really mean to Odie ,or does Odie have a dark side.What do you think of the whole thing. So until next time , Garfield watch your BACK!

Mustang, haven’t you heard the sketches by The Frantics? Ti Kwan Leap has a martial arts master giving Ed Gruberman a boot to the head. A second skit has a recently deceased man giving out boots to the head to most of his greedy relatives.

(COMMENTRY) garfield moves by his motion and hits odie at the bottom and score for garfield as odie lands on toothpick eiffil tower……………GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
