To quote the GOP “Obama must fail, Health Care will be his Waterloo!” Why change now?

They wont, he will, and the next three years will be mess. The millions out of work, losing their home, well they will just have to wait, PARTY BEFORE COUNTRY.

I wish it were that noble. Some people can’t tell the difference. especially professional politicians who believe, self, God, (oh I’m redundant there) Party, re-election, then, maybe Country.

Pat Oliphant is for me the best political observer ever! Here in Scandinavia he is a respected author for his deep thoughs and always keeping his moral balance. Mr Pat, thank you very much for your fantastic work in helping a lot of us to understand some aspects of this mad. mad mad world!

Go ahead, Harry. Go ahead Nancy. Do it on your own…and at your own peril.

That will be two more disconnected incumbents we can get rid of in Washington.

Now as for the other few hundred like them….

And just what positive things are the Republicans adding? Nothing. The Dems have to go it alone.

We can see that the Karl Rove and Lee Atwater school of political winning (you only need 50% plus one) at any cost is still working.

Divide and conquer worked in ancient times, and we still fall for it. Pick a wedge, any wedge, and you can split your opponents into two camps, and go happily about raiding the treasury unhindered.

And of course, the function of a politician is to get (re-)elected.
