Animals are just like people in a way…preferring to eat what tastes good rather than what is healthy and good for us. Stuff like that “meow mess” is probably the kitty equivalent to eating at Mcdonald’s, lol.

We only have one cat now, but we generally have had at least three. They ate what they got before somebody else took it right out from under their noses.Our vet told us to mix string beans with the dog’s kibble to help her drop a few pounds, and she very carefully removed each bean and dropped it on the floor. Dried string beans are very hard to scrape up.

And the cat is thinking ‘I am just into that fancy feasting’.

lol

Well as far as the cat, I think the premium food supplied by his master would smell like fish with salmon in it.

As far as Arlo’s preferences, can’t comment on that in a public forum like this.

Add mice and chipmunks to the contents and see what happens….
