I once had a daschund who would try to take over my chair. Usually I would order him out and he would go to another chair nearby. Once in a while, he would challenge me as pack leader and snarl and refuse to move. I would get the flyswatter and theaten him, but sometimes I actually had to swat him a couple times. He would snarl and get dow and go to his own chair. Things were fine until the next time he challenged me..

I agree with Joe…Fred gets more satisfaction from doing what he’s not supposed to do than doing what’s “on-limits”.

Fred would approve of the fact that this year Crufts main sponsor was DFS , who make sofas. Obviously they think their products are meant for dogs!
