One advantage to “pay at the pump.”

Problem is that there are usually 3 or 4 “Red Ford Rangers” at our local Quickee-Mart’s Pumps!

Eventually it gets sorted out, though.

‘Pay at the pump’ was invented for the ones with short term memory. So, now I see them looking all through the vehicle for the debit/credit card,

Happens to me all the time. I just point…“I’m the red car, the little one…yeah, that one!”

Unfortunately, unlike slot machines, fuel pumps do not accept cash. I wish they did, and make change, of course…

I’ve been forgetting that since long before I also hit ‘plugger’ age.

I have been to a few gas stations that had pay at the pump where the pump took paper money.

I’m lucky. I live in New Jersey where we pay the gas with an attendant getting the cash. Or the Credit Card goes into a slot in the pump. But, that’s all they do. Nothing else.

I have a credit card that I use only for gasoline — saves time at the pump and still get paid (at no additional cost) every month.
