Jimmy: Hey, Bob! How'd Carter get so big on your music, anyway? Bob Dylan: I dunno, man. One day some reporter just called to tell me that J.C.'s sayin' I'm one of his main men, that me and James Dickey are authentic American voices, y'know? An authentic American voice! Can you beat that, Jim? I mean, I just want it to rhyme, man. Jimmy: Now he tells us.

He was also an outstanding poet.

Love it. Such a subtle commentary on the 60âs, what they meant, what hey seemed to mean and, perhaps, what they failed to mean. I also wonder Bob D. ever saw these strips and if they made him smile.

Itâs a pretty accurate rendition of Dylanâs distancing himself from the counter culture. Heâs pretty much been doing that at least since the âmotorcycle accident.â Though even in his early years, he was teasing reporters that he was âa song and dance man.â

âHigh notes are tails down, low notes tails up, to fit them on the stave.âYes, Iâm aware of that, LightBuzz. But when notes are tails down, the tail drops down from the left side of the note, and its flag curves up toward the right. Please seehttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eighth_note

LeftWing, Except I did not comment on that sole example of their attempts to take over the world, did point out it did not indicate they were respecting internal affairs.
