I think Burl is about to experience a lot of trouble with the safety equipment on his car. And get a ticket each time. And he better be perfect in his driving. Come to think of it, it doesn’t matter, he’s screwed.
Burl really stepped on his own you-know-what THIS time. But, to be honest, he only said out loud what everyone else was thinking. Problem is, when you’re at one of those town meetings you HAVE to identify yourself by name and street address, at least that’s how it is around here. So Burl, being Burl, opened his yap, not out of any sense of ‘taking one for the team’ but out of abject stupidity.
Oh man soo stupid giving the full name and address. This is nothing wrong with saying something about the local polices behavior if it is out of line. However be general not direct and give your first name only. I did comment about that local pd driving in general and said they should be the example not the exception at a meeting you know what other citizens also spoke up and none of us got a ticket afterwards. And the pd seemed to drive better after that for a while. Burl had to make it personnel for one. what a dumb ass
When trouble strikes, help is only hours away. Might have to stop and get gas, maybe check the oil, get a car wash….be there as soon as we can, Mr. Penney!

Never give out more info. than needed. I bet everyone else is asking the same one, but not wanting to risk getting in trouble.

I suspect Burl has blown through plenty of stop signs when running errands, and for sure goes out of turn at the ones he does stop for.
I did not know Burl lives on Cinder Oak Glenn, when was the forest fire?
