don’t it always seem to go, bet you don’t know what you got till it’s gone.

There is a cake cover in my sink with scrapings of chocolate frosting on it. Why didn’t I think of breakfast?

Moxie is an old time soda drink, can still be found in some parts. Tastes horrible, at least I think so.

I thought cold pizza was for breakfast - you mean people eat something else?

(I gave up chocolate for Lent, so that wouldn’t work anyway)

I’ve had cold pizza and KFC for breakfast - but never chocolate cake or any other kind of cake for that matter.

    @ Dry -

I think it’s still sold in Northern New England. Used to have a Moxie bottling plant in my hometown of Rochester, NH

BIG PINK MOM, I will admit to having pancakes for breakfast, though I haven’t had them for a long time. I have not had coffee cake for breakfast though. I’ll admit to having just about anything left over from from the previous night’s supper, except for dessert. I rarely eat dessert unless I pick up a cheese cake - and no I won’t have it for breakfast. I’m more likely to go through a family-sized bag of chips or Fritos.

BIG PINK MOM, the older I get, the less sweets I eat. But every once in a while I’ll weaken for a good cheese cake. But I won’t prepare it myself.

As for baking, maybe a tortiere or cajun roast pork, stuffed pork chop or even meat loaf is more to my liking. There’ll be left-overs, but not for too long.

If there was chocolate cake for breakfast, I’d eat breakfast!

When I was little in Catholic school, they’d take us to Mass and communion for “First Friday’s” . To go to Communion, you had to fast before it (NO breakfast). Afterwards, we would get to buy milk and Tastycakes. I always bought the chocolate cup cakes. Yum!

Breakfast is always yummy and I do many special things, but a simple one follows my grapefruit with an egg over easy with toast. Best ones have omlet or french toast and more fruit and/or maple syrup….etc;-)

I can barely find my coffee cup and fill it in the mornlng. If there was chocolate cake, somehow… I’d find a knife to cut it, and a plate and a fork, too! Other than anything with caffeine, anything else is too much trouble to do.
