Lucy would fit right into with today’s internet users.

I am glad that Snoopy is immune to Lucy’s killjoy sentiments.

Lucy just doesn’t understand how dancing makes Snoopy happy and others happiness.

It’s sad how society seeks to be concerned for one possible offended person over the thousands of people that would be offended if that ONE person was given what they want.

Dance Snoopy Dance…

Snoopy was footloose before Kevin Bacon.

It just hit me that maybe the only thing that makes Lucy happy is making others miserable.

It takes more intellectual effort to understand anything than it takes to be offended by it.

Not Snoopy. He lives his life doing what he does, making others happy. Go Snoopy!

Snoopy’s right. He could offend no one. Lucy just represents the petty slights of the hyper sensitive.

And that’s how you deal with people like Lucy.

Snoopy is in good company. King David offended his wife with his dancing. (2 Samuel 6:16-23)

But does it, actually? I would’a thought it would happen the other way ’round…

The beginnings of PC? If one person, somewhere, is offended- even for unstated reasons, everyone else must cease and refrain from the offending activity.-———————————————-If the majority are offended by being censured and censored, that’s overruled.

Third frame Linus tries the left thumb and in the fourth frame he walks into the television room to tell Lucy that he never noticed it before…one of his thumbs is sweeter than the other.

I pasted it to my wall in my bedroom.

Someone being offended by something I find delightful really offends me. I will therefore exercise my inalienable right to halt undo offending by requiring the aforementioned offender to not be offended.

One of the cutest drawings ever of Snoopy is the third panel. It should be on a poster (or possibly Mount Rushmore…….)

People being offended by dancing is just daft; but someone complaining because a hypothetical third party might theoretically be offended by dancing is killjoy control freakery.

Snoopy’s response is of course entirely correct.

Your face is offensive, Lucy.

And of course, those of you who are “Footloose”…

All those offended by dancing dogs….GET A LIFE!!!!

Some people just don’t like to see others happy… What a shame…

Keep dancing, Snoopy, keep dancing.

That’s the right attitude for response to the terminally offended.
