    Linus also commented that “Big sisters are the crabgrass in the lawn of life.” Lucy would, years later, treat Rerun much better than she usually treated Linus.

    Schulz knew nothing about this from direct experience – he was an only child. His most recent biographer believes that Lucy was patterned after Schulz’ first wife. By the way, speaking as a middle child who had a younger brother – I never treated my younger brother like this. However, my older brother (#2 child) treated ME like that!
