Yes, you are correct. That is a 1960 Chevrolet Impala convertible. After working for Chevrolet over 30 years, I guess that would be my one knowledge base {;-) Too bad Dan didn’t use a Ford though; could have had 4 out of 4 then!
Actually, while it does look like a Chevy in all other respects, if you look carefully at the passenger front fender you see that little “sight” that I believe Galaxies had on them during the cars-that-look-like-rocket-ships phase in the late ’50s and early ’60s. Our next door neighbor had one — light green convertible. The little “sights” fascinated me.

Yes, the side-by-side headlights indicate a GM product. Ford had stacked headlights.
