    I hate to tell the poor little lamb but …. you can’t hatch lettuce no matter how long you sit on it …. not speaking from personal experience, of course. Oh boy, my avatar’s having an effect on me!

    I may be old fashioned,but don’t you plant lettuce (or peas) as soon as you can work the ground? Little frost won’t hurt them.
