I hate peanut butter.

And what about the ice cream??

Yukoner - I view peanut butter as one of the main food groups. Had a co-worker once who would sit down with a bucket of peanut butter and a glass of scotch. Heaven on earth!

“Rather bland” …. now that’s an understatement.

Rice cakes and tofu: two things that taste pretty much like nothing at all. (I wonder how they’d work together.)

Fat Broad does have the right idea. It’s not the rice cakes, it’s what you put on them. And if it’s natural peanut butter, it’s certainly more palatable than the hydrogenated, sweetened stuff.

Rice cakes are even better if you cover them in chocolate.

Rice cakes are pretty much nothing more than styrofoam, and not much tastier…

After my brother’s first divorce, he lived for two months on peanut butter. After his second, I think he lived on toe nail clippings, which are much like rice cakes.

I think rice cakes and tofu together would hold your taste buds hostage until you sit down to a nice grilled ste…um, chicken dinner.

…and fry them.

I think the packaging tastes better.

A jelly donut and a coffee royal give you the four main food groups, caffeine, sugar, alcohol and lard.

Just as twice nothing is still nothing, rice cakes & tufu is still tasteless.

Chocolate and peanut butter on the other hand….Mmmmm!

Lewreader - WOW! I knew a guy who collected his clippings in a little tin can - must have had a premonition of his impending divorce - which happened about two years later…!!!

I guess I’m lucky (in some weird sense…) - I love things that taste like wood, especially if they’re slightly burnt…

Puffed rice, fixed like popcorn ~ maybe. Rice cakes ~ no.

They make rice cakes which are slightly flavored, with cinnamon or chili powder or stuff like that. Not bad, and if you DO want something that’s going to fill you up without throwing off your diet, give ‘em a try.

I like the dill pickle flavoured ones… :D

All agreed: rice cakes equals army intelligence. You can eat the packing peanuts you get in your QVC special chocolate strawberries orders and they taste the same, I’m told.

Rice cakes and Mc Donalds hambergers tastes the same to me. Soy cardboard.
