They must think that Frank and Nancy have a groovy time machine. They also probably think that itâs easy to operate. All they have to do is just âopen the doorââŠ

I feel like half the time I see Nancy, sheâs doing laundry. Must have a lot of funky old clothes to wash!

Looks like the joke today is on you, Nancy. (Frank is too out of it to notice.)And yet, retro fashions are sometimes considered very chicâŠ.

Actually, The Trouble with Harry was not one of Hitchcockâs first movies. He had made over 40 movies over a period of about 30 years before that one.

â..About then, she asked how I thought I would like sleeping outsideâŠâ ^Ha ha!!! Lemme guess⊠you had to âdanceâ around the issue?

â..and our expectations today are much higherâŠâ^I say that too, when looking back at great films and shows, and seeing how all the filming/lighting/rendering (the lattermost, in the case of the animation ones) and effects have changed. â I wished I could say the same for the plot, though. For some TV examples, I find the original TJ Hooker/Dragnet/Emergency/Adam 12/Chips to be more intriguing in plot than what they do now in shows, those now havng a bunch of filler (booms, bangs, graphic weapons wounds and sex scenes) and a few âbroodingâ lead charactersâŠ

W-I-D-E tie:)^I think thatâs another part to this! Boy would it look âout of placeâ with todayâs ties! Although the âskinny tieâ phase was a bit of an anomaly in between. â Not to mention the patterns have changed a lotâŠ.

"I believe they used to call them âzip around jeansâ ^Itâs a wonder that they never got separated in the wash⊠I can imagine the âPunky Brewsterâ-like effects, if you were to âmix and matchâ one pant of âstonewashâ with one of âacidwashâ or âsolidâ blue or blackâŠ.

I remember when they had the âBill Blassâ jeans, and also âLeviâsâ âflavorsâ⊠both featuring different colors of denim⊠â And they also used to parody âShoutâ by Tears For Fears in case you were the one still showing up in âLeeâ jeans in the mid-late 80s (âShout! Shout! Leeâs are played out!ââŠ.â«)âŠ

I once had a Tom Jones Live album where a woman (who else?) asked how does one get into those tight pants? Tom answered, âFirst, you start with a kissâ.

It seems that Nancy has a wardrobe malfunction. She has to update her clothes.

Oh, oh!!! Thatâs what the teens of the seventies thought about parents in their fifties⊠;)

âYou (Bernice) need to be making new friends right now.â Why the constant focus on Bernice making new friends? She and Luann have been friends for yearsâŠwhy not share their new lives with each other? Thereâs plenty of time to do that. Freshman year is a year of constant change and challengeâŠit is nice to know you have a friend who really knows you and what the two of you have been experiencing⊠;)
