    @AlexikakosI was shown a quicker way for single servings. You leave the husk on the ear and place in a microwave for 7 mins on High. Removing the silk was suppose to be easier but since I was not accustomed to eating corn on the cob I don’t have anything to compare it to.

    I have never used holders, though I had them for my family’s use. If the ear of corn is too hot to hold, it is too hot to eat. Also, I don’t need holders to keep my hands clean since I do not butter my ears of corn. Aside from that, I have “kitchen hands” and they can handle things hotter than most folks.
