In an episode about language, itâs a shame that the writer couldnât get it right about âeverydayâ vs âevery day.â Itâs almost as if the writer were proud of his chronicly sloppy writing.
t-rex has somehow come to believe that âtenetâ is a five-letter word that basically insults your entire world-view, goes on to insult that of your parents, and finally settles on suggesting that you have troubles in life because you donât try hard enough.
I argue with T-rexâs assertion that languages are hard to learn, and he basically proves my point twice over. Itâs so easy that babyâs can learn it, and in the end, you donât even have to get everything right, you just have to get close understand enough you so people most can.
Personally, I think the person who has said the smartest thing about language here is T-Rex. Which is kind of embarrassing when you think about it, but thatâs just personal opinion.
