My brother-in-law made a 5 lb meatloaf and put it on the counter to cool, Came back 15 minutes later and their dog had pulled it off the counter and at the whole thing. She was a basset hound and we never did figure out how she reached the top of the counter to get to the pan.
when a blind co-worker needed an assessment the gentleman that gave the assessment was also blind (makes sense. Who else would know how best to set up the desk and equipment). His guide dog – a beautiful Lab/Newfie cross could stretch his nose across a metre gap to the lunch at the next desk.

Set our Subway sandwiches on the counter….. walked into the bedroom………. came back to kitchen…….GONE! .Our dogs had that “not me!” look.

I had a beagle that could swipe the lunch meat out of a sandwich and leave the bread. Wouldn’t believe it if I hadn’t seen her do it myself!
