Hello everyone! glad to see you are all going strong & keeping your spirits up!!! let’s face it we all need a trombone to stop us blowing a fuse while we climb the walls!!!
2.5 Hours on the phone this morning. 1 with my mom explaining the difference between the current quarantine rules and lock down and that yes she could go to the bank but put on the mask and gloves in the buildings and the 6’ rule. Bless her heart. She is going a little stir crazy. She’s cleaned her apartment twice so far. She really was happy about the walk to the bank down the street.
And the other 1.5 hours on the phone with my specialty pharmacy getting me set up for a new med that my insurance is going to pay for. Without it the meds were $8200.00 a month. (no, I didn’t misplace the decimal). Now that they have approved it, $5.00 (Again, I didn’t misplace the decimal) Woo hoo! It’s not a cure, although at that price it should be, but it’s proven to slow the progression of my disease. We’ll see, but I’m optimistic.
Kudos again, StelBel!! But, now I’m going have to look for the human version (can’t picture Buddy Hackett singing – Hackmutt maybe, but Hackett?? I wonder if he sings with the same accent).

Next step for Thomas: Lay in the corner, assume the fetal position and stick his thumb in his mouth.

How did he ever get those feet under the toeboard?

Some people just want to crawl under the covers. Thomas is going deep under covers.

Yay!
Look, everybody!
As Dennis said… we have a new StelBel poster to admire…
in the March 24th 2020 “CLEO and COMPANY” on Sherpa.
Can anybody even look at it without hearing that memorable music?
“We’ve got trouble with a “T” and that rhymes with “D” and that stands for “DROOL!” ♪ ♫ ♪
“Seventy-SIX Milk Bones” ♫ ♪ …. \Er, I mean trombones… (I was just hearing it in my mind the way the naughty pups sing it on the playground…. )
And the beautiful Shirley Bones… domesticating that sly old dog, Bobby Basseton… LOL….
You know the humans did one too…. but they had to use a man. Poor humans.

If Cleo’s got the music in her, I’ll eat my trombone.

I doubt that the public will ever be ready for Thomas anyway.

Hey @StillTheBelle – I played the trombone in Jr. High.* Can I be in your parade?
* b/c Mother thought I should learn to play a musical instrument (and also b/c there were a raft of Hot Chicks in the woodwind section).

Good morning Balladeers, Plods and Miss Susan!
Buddy Hackmutt! Now anyone who remembers Buddy is REALLY OLD! Sigh! :-( Does it count if I was just a little girl at the time? :-D

We went to see that film on Christmas Day in our first year of dating way back in 1962. I was still a teenager then.
All the songs come to mind. Being in Love, Goodnight Ladies, and Marion the Librarian! What fun.
And, Stel has done another outstanding job of bringing the premier to our local Bassetplex. Shipoopi!
